About the Role Reports to: Senior Manager, Educational Operations Direct reports:
None Location:
Waukesha, WI (Hybrid Work Environment; Tuesday and Wednesday On Site) ASGCT is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Manager, Educational Operations , to support the planning, delivery, and continuous improvement of scientific and professional education programs. This role is central to executing committee-driven programming, coordinating multi-format educational events, and supporting digital and on-demand learning initiatives. Key Responsibilities Committee & Volunteer Management Serve as primary staff liaison to 5 scientific committees and 1 standing committee Coordinate committee operations, including scheduling, agendas, minutes, and follow-up Partner with committee leadership to identify program topics, speakers, and initiatives Track engagement and support annual reporting and volunteer stewardship efforts Program & Event Operations (Multi-Format) Manage operations for live, hybrid, virtual, and on-demand programs Lead or support webinars, workshops, symposia, summits, and Annual Meeting activities Develop timelines, run-of-show documents, rehearsal schedules, and operational plans Coordinate speaker and faculty logistics, including invitations and materials Provide backup support for Annual Meeting session and speaker management Support onsite and virtual execution to ensure high-quality attendee experiences Learning Management System (LMS) Support Manage course setup, content packaging, and user access within the LMS Provide technical support and ensure content accuracy Assist users with assessments, certificates, and accreditation requirements Content Development & Curation Lead development of professional development and regulatory content bundles Support curation of content for regulatory, trainee, and early-career audiences Identify content gaps and collaborate on thematic collections Digital Production & Technical Support Set up and support webinars, virtual symposia, and workshops Provide backup support for digital production and facilitation Assist with video recording, editing, and technical quality checks Troubleshoot issues during live virtual events Cross-Department Collaboration Collaborate with Marketing, Meetings & Events, Policy, Development, Publications, Membership, and IT teams Project Management & Reporting Manage timelines using project management tools Maintain documentation and version control Track metrics and generate performance reports Contribute to SOP development and process improvements Additional Responsibilities Support special projects and organization-wide initiatives Travel up to three weeks per year Occasional evening or weekend work (less than 10%) Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree (science or education-related field preferred) 3+ years of experience in program management, event coordination, or scientific education Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills Experience with digital learning platforms, project management tools, and video editing Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously Strong problem-solving skills, including risk identification and mitigation Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across teams Preferred Qualifications Scientific fluency Experience in nonprofit, association, or academic environments
