About Prefer NP Prefer NP is a growing behavioral health organization supporting psychiatric nurse practitioners across multiple states. We help providers with onboarding, systems, insurance operations, workflow support, and practice growth so they can deliver high-quality mental health care to more patients. We are building a strong operational team to support provider success, improve internal systems, and help the company grow in a disciplined way. Position Overview Prefer NP is seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and highly reliable Operations & Growth Coordinator to support provider onboarding, system setup, internal tracking, payer coordination, provider communication, and growth initiatives. This is a hands-on operations role for someone who enjoys turning moving parts into clear next steps, keeping track of details, following up until work is complete, and learning how a healthcare business works from the inside. The primary responsibility is operations coordination. The secondary responsibility is supporting provider growth, recruitment, and market expansion through research, tracking, follow-up, and project support. Recent college graduates are welcome to apply, especially those who can demonstrate strong organization, follow-through, written communication, and comfort with detailed work. What This Role Is Really For The purpose of this role is to help make sure provider onboarding, system setup, payer coordination, internal tracking, and operational follow-up happen accurately and on time. The right person will help Prefer NP reduce dropped balls, improve visibility, support providers, and move important tasks from "in progress" to complete. Key Responsibilities Provider Operations & Onboarding
  • Support provider onboarding from start to finish
  • Add and maintain providers in internal systems, including Charm EHR, payer portals, spreadsheets, and other platforms
  • Help providers understand internal systems, workflows, and required setup steps
  • Track onboarding status, missing items, next steps, and deadlines
  • Follow up with providers to keep onboarding and setup moving
  • Escalate issues when providers are stuck, confused, delayed, or need leadership support Systems, Tracking & Internal Coordination
  • Maintain tracking spreadsheets and internal reports
  • Keep provider status, payer setup, operational notes, and follow-up items accurate and current
  • Organize messy information into clear task lists and next steps
  • Help leadership see what is complete, what is stuck, and what needs attention
  • Support internal workflow improvements and documentation
  • Assist with creating or updating checklists, process notes, and training materials Provider Growth & Business Development Support
  • Support provider recruitment and onboarding efforts
  • Help track prospective providers and follow-up steps
  • Assist with new state and market expansion projects
  • Conduct research, organize information, and maintain growth-related trackers
  • Support initiatives that improve provider growth, patient access, and operational scale
  • Assist leadership with business development projects as assigned What Success Looks Like A successful person in this role will:
  • Keep provider onboarding organized and moving
  • Maintain accurate trackers without constant reminders
  • Follow up consistently on open items
  • Communicate clearly with providers and internal leaders
  • Know what is complete, what is stuck, and what needs escalation
  • Help leadership spend less time chasing details
  • Learn systems quickly and document what they learn
  • Take ownership of assigned workflows from beginning to end Qualifications Required
  • Strong organization and follow-through
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Comfort working with spreadsheets, systems, portals, and administrative workflows
  • Ability to manage multiple moving parts without losing track of details
  • Willingness to ask clarifying questions rather than guess
  • Ability to follow up professionally and persistently
  • Good judgment about when to handle something independently and when to escalate
  • High level of discretion and reliability Preferred, but Not Required
  • Background in healthcare, business, operations, administration, or a related field
  • Experience with medical billing, insurance, payer portals, or EHR systems
  • Familiarity with Excel, Google Sheets, or similar tools
