Our mission is to provide a positive, inclusive, and competitive soccer experience that develops talent, character, and a lifelong love for the game. Role Overview The Operations Manager is a key member of the DUFC Board of Directors responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the club. This role ensures that club activities, programs, and events run smoothly and align with DUFC's mission and strategic plan. The Operations Manager works closely with board members, coaches, volunteers, and families to build a strong, well-organized club experience for all. Key Responsibilities Oversee and coordinate the daily operations of the club, including scheduling, logistics, and program execution. Collaborate with coaches and directors to ensure smooth delivery of practices, games, tournaments, and special events. Support registration processes, player placement, and team formation. Develop and maintain operational policies and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency. Work closely with the Treasurer/Finance Director on budgeting for programs and events. Act as the main liaison for families, coaches, and volunteers regarding operational needs. Ensure facilities, fields, and equipment are scheduled and maintained. Support the Board and President in implementing DUFC's long-term strategic plan. Ideal Candidate Strong organizational and project management skills. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Experience in operations, logistics, or program management (sports or nonprofit preferred). Knowledge of soccer programs, youth development, and club structures. Ability to collaborate with a diverse group of coaches, volunteers, and families. Passion for soccer and DUFC's mission of building one club, one community. Time Commitment Attend regular Board of Directors meetings. Provide ongoing oversight of club operations (approx. 5-10 hours per week, varies by season). Participate in key club events, tournaments, and community activities.
