Job Description

Operations Supervisor About the Role We are seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to lead our daily operations team and ensure exceptional service for our clients. This role is responsible for supervising staff, optimizing operational processes, supporting customs and logistics activities, and driving continuous improvement across the department. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with experience in customs, international trade, or logistics and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Lead, coach, and supervise a team of 15-20 employees, including scheduling, training, performance management, and team development. Monitor daily operations and team performance to ensure departmental KPIs and service standards are achieved. Provide outstanding customer service to clients, vendors, and business partners. Coordinate customs clearance activities and ensure compliance with applicable customs regulations. Research tariff classifications and maintain accurate client and customs-related records. Assist with resolving operational issues, complex shipments, and customer inquiries. Develop and improve operational procedures and work instructions. Partner with IT to implement process improvements and operational enhancements. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Support the billing process by providing accurate operational information. Assist the Sales team by providing operational support for new and existing business. Coordinate with customs brokers, transportation providers, and logistics partners to ensure timely shipment movement. Provide after-hours support as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or diploma in International Trade, Logistics, Business, or a related field. Minimum 4 years of experience in customs, compliance, international trade, or logistics. Previous leadership or supervisory experience. Strong knowledge of customs regulations and international shipping processes. Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Industry certifications (such as CCS) and experience with customs software are considered an asset. Spanish/English bilingual skills are an asset. Pay:
$50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
