Flexible schedule including occasional early mornings, evenings, weekends, and local travel to McDonald's restaurants and events Position Summary The Strategic Engagement Coordinator is responsible for strengthening and growing the partnership between Ronald McDonald House Charities of Augusta and local McDonald's Owner/Operators, restaurant teams, and customers. This role focuses on increasing fundraising revenue, restaurant engagement, customer participation, and community awareness through initiatives such as Round-Up for RMHC, product promotion campaigns, canister programs, special events, employee engagement, and in-store fundraising initiatives. This position serves as the primary relationship manager for local McDonald's restaurants and works collaboratively with Owner/Operators, supervisors, restaurant managers, crew members, and RMHC leadership to maximize support for the mission of RMHC Augusta. Essential Duties & Responsibilities McDonald's Relationship Management Build and maintain strong relationships with local McDonald's Owner/Operators, restaurant leadership teams, and crew members Serve as the primary point of contact for McDonald's fundraising and engagement initiatives Conduct regular restaurant visits to provide support, encouragement, training, and recognition Attend local McDonald's meetings, events, and community activities as a representative of RMHC Augusta Foster positive communication and partnership between RMHC Augusta and the McDonald's community Fundraising & Campaign Management Lead and grow Round-Up for RMHC participation and revenue across all local McDonald's restaurants Develop strategies to increase customer engagement and crew participation in fundraising campaigns Coordinate and promote national and local RMHC product promotions and fundraising initiatives Help establish fundraising benchmarks and recognition programs for restaurants Maintain accurate fundraising records and restaurant engagement data Monitor restaurant engagement metrics and identify opportunities for improvement Training & Restaurant Support Provide training and educational materials to restaurant teams regarding RMHC mission impact and fundraising initiatives Create and distribute campaign materials, signage, promotional resources, and engagement updates Recognize outstanding stores, managers, and crew members through appreciation initiatives and awards Community Engagement & Events Coordinate McDonald's participation in RMHC Augusta events and volunteer opportunities Assist with planning appreciation events, restaurant competitions, and engagement campaigns Represent RMHC Augusta at restaurant openings, celebrations, and local community functions Other Duties Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and organizational activities Support a positive team culture aligned with RMHC values Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in fundraising, community engagement, hospitality, retail operations, sales, or relationship management preferred Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills Excellent communication and presentation abilities Highly organized with strong time management and follow-through Comfortable engaging with restaurant teams in fast-paced environments Ability to motivate and inspire participation among diverse groups Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and donor/data tracking systems Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for regular local travel Physical Requirements Frequent local travel to McDonald's restaurant locations Ability to stand for extended periods during restaurant visits and events Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds for event and promotional materials Work Environment This position operates in both office and restaurant environments and requires frequent interaction with McDonald's Owner/Operators, restaurant staff, donors, volunteers, and community members. Flexibility, professionalism, enthusiasm, and strong customer service skills are essential.
