Job Description
Site EHS Manager The Site EHS Manager will lead and manage all environmental, health, and safety programs at the plant. This role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while driving a culture of safety, environmental stewardship, and continuous improvement across the site. The EHS Manager partners with leadership and employees to proactively identify risks, implement effective controls, and promote a safe and healthy workplace. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage all site Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs and initiatives Ensure full compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and other applicable regulations Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and training programs Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and environmental inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions Track and report key EHS metrics (TRIR, near misses, audits, etc.) and communicate performance to leadership Partner with operations, engineering, and maintenance teams to integrate safety into all processes Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and safety best practices Manage workers compensation cases and coordinate return-to-work programs Oversee environmental programs including waste management, air emissions, water compliance, and sustainability initiatives Lead emergency preparedness and response planning (fire, chemical, medical, etc.) Serve as the site expert for regulatory inspections and external audits Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field preferred 5+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, EPA requirements, and environmental compliance standards Experience leading safety programs in a high-speed or highly automated manufacturing environment preferred Proven experience with incident investigation and root cause analysis Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to influence and drive a culture of safety across all levels of the organization Stanadyne is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, national origin, sex, gender, color, marital status, sexual orientation, disability, veteran status or any other protected class.
