Since opening in October 2023, we've grown rapidly and built one of the most loyal wellness communities in the Charleston area. We're led by owner and head instructor Dana Romanosky. Our studio runs on genuine relationships — between instructors, members, and the people who keep everything running behind the scenes. That's where you come in. The Role This is the operational core of Evolve. You own the day-to-day performance of the studio — the member experience, the class schedule, the systems that keep everything running, and the relationships that keep members coming back. This is not a passive front desk role. We're looking for someone who takes genuine ownership — someone who notices when utilization is slipping, follows up before a member cancels, and keeps the studio running smoothly so Dana can focus on teaching. Someone with real interest in Pilates and the Mount Pleasant community, for whom this is a meaningful career move. For the right person, there is also a path to become a certified Evolve instructor — adding teaching to your role and increasing your compensation as you grow with the studio. 30% Studio Ops & Systems 25% Schedule & Capacity 25% Member Sales & Retention 20% Reporting & Growth What You'll Do Studio Operations & Daily Experience Own the check-in experience — the tone you set in the morning shapes the whole day Manage opening and closing procedures; ensure studio presentation and equipment readiness Handle all member communications: email, phone, text — same-day response standard Process membership changes, package purchases, and payment updates Troubleshoot real-time issues — member, equipment, or logistics — and resolve them without escalation Maintain retail inventory, supply ordering, and facility upkeep Schedule & Capacity Management Own the class schedule in Mariana Tek — updates, waitlists, late cancel and no-show processing Coordinate instructor schedules and manage substitute coverage — classes are never left uncovered Monitor utilization trends by day and time slot; bring data-backed recommendations to Dana Align scheduling to demand patterns to maximize class fill rates over time New Member Sales Own the intro offer conversion pipeline from first visit through membership signup Follow up with every new intro offer client within 24 hours of their first class Present membership options with confidence and genuine curiosity — no pressure tactics Partner with Dana on promotional offers, community events, and new client outreach Track and report weekly on new member pipeline and conversion rate Member Retention Monitor attendance weekly; proactively reach out to members who haven't been in 10+ days Conduct save conversations with members considering cancellation; log all outcomes Run the 30/60/90-day new member check-in cadence to reduce early churn Contact credit package clients whose credits are expiring — re-engage before they go quiet Build genuine community relationships — remember names, milestones, and life moments Reporting & Growth Support Own weekly reporting on class utilization, member retention, and conversion pipeline Maintain clean data across studio platforms (Mariana Tek, FitGrid) Support local marketing initiatives and community partnerships Monitor ClassPass and direct booking performance; flag opportunities and issues Identify trends and bring recommendations — schedule changes, product ideas, retention initiatives Schedule This is a full-time role at approximately 35-40 hours per week. Core hours are built around the late-morning studio rush — our highest-traffic window — plus focused admin time in the early afternoon when the studio quiets down for outreach calls, reporting, and follow-up work. Some Saturday coverage is expected. This is a morning-forward role in a fast-paced, people-first environment. If you're looking for a traditional 9-5 office role, this isn't it — but if you thrive on variety, ownership, and a schedule that fits a wellness-oriented lifestyle, it will feel like a natural fit. What We're Looking For Must-Haves Strong operator with a bias for action — you solve problems before they become issues Warm, professional communicator — equally comfortable on the phone, via text, and in person Highly organized with a strong follow-through instinct — you thrive on systems and hate letting things slip Comfortable working with data — you can read a utilization report and know what to do with it Sales fluency without pressure: you love helping people find the right fit Genuine interest in wellness, Pilates, and the Mount Pleasant community Real availability on weekday mornings and Saturdays — this is your primary professional commitment Nice-to-Haves Prior experience in fitness studio, spa, hospitality, or membership-based operations Familiarity with studio management software (Mariana Tek, Mindbody, or similar) Takes Pilates or reformer classes yourself — you understand what we're building Existing network in the Mt.Pleasant / Charleston
wellness or social scene Compensation & Perks Base Salary $30,000-$40,000/year based on experience Performance Bonuses Variable pay tied to member growth and conversion outcomes Complimentary Classes Full Evolve membership — unlimited classes Retail Discount 30% off all studio retail Instructor Path Opportunity to become a certified Evolve instructor — adding teaching income as you grow Growth Opportunity Natural path to Studio Manager as Evolve expands to new locations Why Evolve We have a strong, committed membership community that shows up consistently, instructors who love what they do, and owners who are deeply invested in building something lasting in Mount Pleasant.
