Job Description
Job Summary We are looking for a Operations Director to oversee field operations, manage crews, and handle key administrative duties including invoicing. This role will be a central part of company management, and OTE is heavily performance based. We are based in Edgemont, SD and this role is ideal for candidates with a background in construction and trucking. Responsibilities Manage day-to-day operations across job sites Supervise and coordinate field teams Handle scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation Oversee project timelines and quality standards Communicate with clients and internal stakeholders Prepare and submit invoices and job reports Support leadership in transitioning project oversight responsibilities Qualifications Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to manage field teams effectively Proactive with excellent organizational skills Requirements 4-5 years of construction project manager or superintendent experience 1 year of experience with basic project tracking and invoicing Willing to relocate to Edgemont, South Dakota Nice to Have Background in trucking and construction operations About Us We have been serving our community since 1977. Being a service-oriented company in a residential, commercial, and ranching community, we now provide excavating and site development services, such as water, sewer, and electrical while sticking to our roots and still offering concrete services as well. Our heavy equipment division can provide dams, roads, well pads, and all other earthwork's needs! Barker Concrete and Construction's trucking division provides water/vac trucks, belly dumps, side dumps, and end dumps as well as dry van and bulk feed hauling needs. We also provide heavy hauling for the oil field industry including winch trucks and trailers, pole trucks, and bed trucks for moving rig equipment, etc. What We Offer $100k-$120k/yr base, plus metric-based bonus $150k-$200k
