Job Summary Direct and manage all plant operations in the production facility with overall responsibilities for production, maintenance, shipping, and other production-related activities. Job Responsibilities
- Direct and manage plant operations for production, maintenance, quality, and shipping and receiving.
- Manage plant activities with lead people to insure manufacturing objectives are met in timely and cost-effective manner.
- Develop and control plans, budgets and profits for this facility.
- Control capital expenditures, operating expenses, manpower levels, hours worked, and wages.
- Manage capital assets and expenditures.
- Control and manage labor overtime, premium freight and repair expenses.
- Maintain existing plant facilities and equipment; replace, repair, or make adjustment to plant facilities and equipment when necessary.
- Provide leadership and training to accomplish the company goals and objectives.
- Implement and maintain preventative maintenance programs.
- Incorporate and manage shop floor organization and plant cleanliness with plant personnel.
- Lead the effort to maintain a safe, clean, healthy working environment.
- Provide direction, development, and leadership to production leads. Requirements Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field or five years in plant/general management experience in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Background with manufacturing methods, process improvement programs and procedures required.
- Working knowledge of budgets and financial statements is preferred Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a salary exempt, full-time position Monday through Friday.
