Job Description

Title:
Operations Manager Location:
Middleton, TN (Onsite) Monday - Friday 7AM - 4PM (on call)
Duration:
Full-Time Essential Job Functions:
Guides, organizes, and directs the hourly work force to meet or exceed all safety, operational and quality goals. Assures stationary and mobile equipment is operated properly in accordance with best practices. Long term planning including projects, process development, budgeting, and operational schedules. Training and maintenance of quality, safety, environmental, and health programs including audit and development activities. Plans and schedules operations in conjunction with maintenance in order to meet sales requirements. Additional duties as assigned Must-haves Valid driver's license Physical ability to move throughout the plant and perform activities like climbing, reaching, and lifting (up to 25 pounds) Required Skills Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Process Engineering (or equivalent experience) At least 5 years of experience in an industrial production environment (or 7 years with a high school diploma or GED) Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites (especially Excel and Word) Solid background in Operations planning programs (like JD Edwards) Leadership skills Ability to handle multiple tasks and work with various personalities Preferred or Nice-to-have Skills Engineering background in a manufacturing setting Experience as an Operations Supervisor in a similar field
Years of Experience:
At least 5 years (with a bachelor's degree) or 7 years (with a high school diploma or GED)
Industry Experience:
Industrial production environment, preferably in mining or operations supervision
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Process Engineering (or equivalent experience) Alternatively, a high school diploma or GED with additional experience
