The Dialysis Assistant Area Operations Director supports the Area Operations Director for all operational and financial aspects of dialysis facilities and programs in a specific area, following established policies.

Schedule:

Fulltime, Monday through Friday, on call as needed

Compensation:

$85,000 - $95,000

Responsibilities What You Can Expect:

Provide leadership and direction to clinical and support staff in assigned region Develop managers, leaders and teams by promoting teamwork and trust among staff and management Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with medical directors, nephrologists, local hospital administration and renal community members Assist the Area Operations Director with market analysis and feasibility assessments related to prospective acute contracts, new clinic development, renovations and special projects Collaborate with and support Nurse Managers to improve individual clinic operations Identify growth opportunities for in-patient and outpatient services Assure facility compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements Oversee facility financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, cash management and inventory control Participate in fiscal budget development for assigned clinics Manage clinical and technical components of facility operations, working with local and corporate teams to achieve clinical outcomes and goals established by leadership

Qualifications Successful Candidates Bring:

Strong Financial Background and Experience Excellent communication skills Desire to collaborate with physicians and clinic management Established leadership skills Ability to problem solve

Education/Training:

A Masters degree in Business Administration, Health Care Management, or similar major field of study is required. Three to five years of experience in a dialysis unit or a similar healthcare setting required. Experience required as a Healthcare Administrator, Regional Director or similar leadership/management role in leading and managing a multi-site operation composed of individual, geographically separated business units is preferred.
