Job Description
DescriptionWe are seeking a strategic, analytically rigorous Senior Benchmarking and Strategy Program Manager to join the AMXL Global Benchmarking team. This role goes beyond study execution — you will own the end-to-end benchmarking lifecycle from intake through partnered implementation, lead complex multi-stakeholder studies, develop frameworks and methodologies, and translate competitive insights into actionable recommendations that influence operational strategy across a global logistics network. You will serve as a thought leader within the program, shaping the portfolio roadmap, mentoring peers, and driving cross-functional alignment to ensure benchmarking insights result in measurable business outcomes. This is an ideal role for someone who combines deep analytical capability with strategic thinking, stakeholder influence, and a passion for competitive intelligence. Key job responsibilities
Basic Qualifications
Portfolio & Study Leadership:
Own and lead end-to-end competitive benchmarking studies — from scoping and methodology design through execution, analysis, and recommendation development, across multiple concurrent workstreams spanning delivery experience, customer journey, returns, packaging, service quality and more.Methodology Development:
Design and refine research methodologies including vendor/carrier interviews, competitive journey mapping, and phase-gated infrastructure assessments to ensure rigorous, repeatable, and scalable study frameworks.Strategic Recommendations & Influence:
Synthesize complex findings into clear, actionable recommendations with quantified business impact; present to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to drive investment decisions and operational changes.Cross-Functional Program Management:
Lead working relationships with stakeholders across Customer Experience, Operations, Learning and Development, Packaging Strategy, Returns, and Services teams to ensure recommendations move from insight to implementation.Implementation Tracking & Accountability:
Own the connection between benchmarking output and operational action — track recommendation implementation, measure impact, and report progress to leadership through regular business reviews.Roadmap & Intake Management:
Shape the benchmarking portfolio roadmap by evaluating incoming study requests, prioritizing based on strategic value and business impact, and managing the team's intake pipeline to balance capacity with demand.Knowledge Systems & Competitive Intelligence:
Build and maintain scalable knowledge management systems that make competitive intelligence accessible, current, and actionable for partners across the organization.Stakeholder Engagement & Communication:
Host regular engagement forums (office hours, working groups, stakeholder reviews) to share findings, gather feedback, and maintain alignment across a broad partner ecosystem.

Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
- Knowledge of general AI tools
