Ever dream of being behind the scenes, growing and making decisions for a professional sports team? Here is an incredible opportunity to join the executive staff of the DFW Flight, proud members of The American Basketball Association (ABA) and playing home games at Loos Field House Arena along with road games across Texas and Beyond. The Flight are looking to immediately grow their family-like team of front office executives in preparation for the 2026 season, tipping-off in November…and for seasons to come. This full-time, year-round position will include professional training and reasonable onboarding to prepare you for the next step (or first step) in your pro sports career!! TheDIRECTOR OF BUSINESS OPERATIONS
will be responsible for duties including to the following:- Designing the presentation of the Game Day experience. This includes creating and utilizing the team's staff, mascot, public address announcer and other game day staff.
- Designing and execute the teams social media and web presence plans aimed to gain maximum exposure for the team.
- Planning and executing all in game promotional elements.
- Hiring and managing a small staff of office interns and/or part-time assistant employees.
- Plan and execute an advertising campaign to maximize awareness for the team/home games.
- Being a daily and year-round contributor to the team's sales efforts in growing the team's season ticket base, group ticket attendees and earning new relationships with corporate partners.
- Work full-time (Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM through 5:00 PM) year-round in the team's professional offices in Dallas/Addison.
The position offers the following:
- Training and experience in the inner workings of operating a professional sports team.
- Resume building opportunity that may lead to advancements in the sports industry at higher levels.
- A base pay of $2,500 per month.
- A high commission rate of 15% on all sales efforts
- Successful candidates should expect to earn between $40,000-60,000 annually in total compensation.
- Perks such as game tickets, and a share in team meals and other perks.
