Job Description
Director of Bistro Operations & Growth The Dienger Trading Co. is seeking an experienced hospitality leader to oversee the daily operations and future growth of our Bistro. This role is for someone who thinks like an owner, leads by example, and is passionate about creating exceptional guest experiences, building high-performing teams, and driving profitable operations. Responsibilities Lead all Front of House and Back of House operations. Recruit, train, coach, and develop team members. Manage scheduling, labor, and daily staffing decisions. Ensure exceptional guest service and operational excellence. Create and implement systems and SOPs that improve consistency, accountability, and performance. Oversee food quality, cleanliness, and hospitality standards. Manage financial performance, including labor, food, beverage, and operating costs. Plan and execute private events and community experiences. Identify and develop new revenue opportunities, including catering, events, partnerships, and other growth initiatives. Partner with ownership to drive profitability and long-term business growth. The Ideal Candidate Has strong hospitality and restaurant leadership experience. Can confidently lead both Front of House and Back of House teams. Is willing to jump on the line, support the floor, and do whatever is needed to ensure success. Thinks strategically while executing day-to-day operations. Is creative, entrepreneurial, and motivated by results. Takes initiative and approaches the business with an ownership mindset. Has a passion for building teams, growing sales, and creating memorable guest experiences. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
