Job Description

Description The Stewarding Supervisor is responsible for leading and supporting the Stewarding Team while assisting the Executive Steward and Assistant Steward in the daily operations of food service support, sanitation, and organization throughout the hotel. This role plays a key part in ensuring the cleanliness, efficiency, and readiness of all Food & Beverage outlets, banquet spaces, kitchens, loading dock areas, and storage facilities. The Stewarding Supervisor oversees the proper handling, cleaning, and organization of hotel china, glassware, silverware, and cookware, while ensuring timely delivery and breakdown of equipment for events and banquet functions. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate closely with culinary and banquet teams to support seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and support the stewarding team in maintaining cleanliness and organization across all kitchen, banquet, and back-of-house areas Assist in coordinating daily stewarding operations and prioritizing tasks to meet operational and event deadlines Ensure proper cleaning, storage, and inventory of all china, silverware, glassware, and cookware Coordinate the timely setup and breakdown of equipment for banquet and event functions Maintain clear and consistent communication between the stewarding, culinary, and banquet teams Assist with reviewing and understanding banquet event orders and contracts to support operational execution Uphold all health, safety, and sanitation standards in accordance with hotel and regulatory requirements Benefits | We care for people so they can be their best .

Requirements Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to interpret and execute banquet event contracts Proven leadership and teamwork skills Ability to lift, push, and pull moderate to heavy amounts of weight as required by the role Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to work a flexible schedule to include holidays and weekends Ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision Multi-lingual preferred but not required Refined communication skills Some knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel programs Inventory management knowledge preferred Previous Supervisory skills preferred Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record Must be 18 years of age or older
