  • Plant Operations Coordinator
  • , you will be supporting daily plant operations by coordinating administrative, operational, and visitor-related activities to ensure safe, efficient, and professional plant performance.
The role serves as a key liaison between operations, leadership, employees, and external visitors while facilitating plant tours, coordinating site events, and supporting continuous improvement activities.   • What you will be doing:
  • As a key part of the Plant Operations team, you'll create impact by driving operational excellence and strengthening stakeholder relationships by ensuring seamless coordination across plant activities, visitor experiences, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Your main responsibilities include:
+ Coordinating daily plant operations through scheduling, communication, administrative support, and tracking operational reports and metrics + Plan and conduct professional plant tours for customers, community groups, new hires, vendors, and executive visitors while ensuring safety and PPE compliance + Prepare tour itineraries, visitor materials, and presentations for plant leadership that communicate manufacturing processes, safety practices, and company values + Support leadership with meeting coordination, action item tracking, and continuous improvement programs that ensure operational excellence + Manage visitor registration, security protocols, hospitality arrangements, and site access procedures + Assist with budget tracking, purchasing requests, invoice processing, and preparation of reports and presentations for plant leadership
  • What makes you a great fit:
  • Above all, you are a detail-oriented coordinator with strong communication and presentation skills, comfortable engaging audiences from shop floor employees to executive visitors and thriving in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
We would also imagine that you have: + 2+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, administrative coordination, customer service, or visitor relations + Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint + Excellent verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated public speaking or group presentation ability + An associate or bachelor's degree in business administration, Operations Management, Communications, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience) is preferred. + Strong verbal and written communication skills. + Excellent presentation and public speaking skills. + Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. It is a plus if you also have: + Experience conducting facility tours or presenting to diverse groups in a manufacturing setting + Knowledge of
ISO 9001
standards + Experience supporting continuous improvement or operational excellence programs The salary range for this position is $62,700 to $88,440 per year. Individual pay will be determined based on market location and the candidate's profile. The range listed is just one component of Grundfos's total compensation and benefits package for employees.
