Operations Manager Reports to:Executive Director Classification:
Full-Time, Exempt Position Summary The Operations Manager manages Ballet Lubbock's financial, administrative, and operational functions, including bookkeeping, payroll, scholarships, scheduling, policy implementation, and ensuring compliance and consistency across all aspects of the organization. Key Responsibilities Finance and Administration Oversee accounting, QuickBooks, reconciliations, and payroll. Process tuition, scholarships, invoices, and vendor payments. Assist with audit preparation and board financial reporting. Assist with customer service, manage the reception team, and address inquiries. Operations Draft, finalize, and implement policies. Oversee scheduling, rentals, and incident reports. Provide executive and administrative support as needed. Manage office supplies and technology needs. Production Support Support volunteer coordination and logistics for Encore, Nutcracker, and Spring Production. Manage Nutcracker Market inventory and reporting. Minimum Qualifications Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, or related field. A combination of education and experience may be substituted. Preferred 3-5 years of nonprofit operations or financial management experience. Skills and Attributes Strong financial acumen and organizational skills. Proficiency with QuickBooks, Excel, and other office software. Excellent communication and leadership abilities. Physical Requirements Ability to sit for extended periods working on a computer. Ability to squat, reach, and lift objects of less than 50lbs. Ability to work evenings and weekends during events and productions. Compensation and Benefits Compensation starts at $55,000+ and is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
