POSITION SUMMARY
The Tech Services Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, performance, and reliability of both the Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) and Maintenance teams. This role ensures safe, efficient, and compliant execution of all technical services activities, including budgeting, planning, commissioning, and field support. This position provides direct supervision, leadership, and accountability for team performance, while ensuring operational uptime, strong safety culture, and alignment with company goals. ________________________________________
CORE SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
(PRIMARY ROLE) Leadership & Daily Operations Lead and manage daily Tech Services report meetings. Supervise both Maintenance and I&E teams to ensure alignment with operational priorities. Ensure all payroll, timekeeping, and vacation approvals are completed on time. Approve overtime daily and monitor to avoid unnecessary hours. Ensure completion of overtime logs and daily reporting. Promote and enforce safety culture, including stop work authority and near-miss reporting. Ensure a safety topic is discussed during daily meetings. ________________________________________ Financial & Budget Management Manage and track both I&E and Maintenance budgets. Approve all expenses, purchase orders (POs), work orders, and change orders. Participate in and lead monthly budget meetings. Maintain cost control while keeping operations in the green. ________________________________________ Work Order & Maintenance Oversight Ensure all work orders are submitted correctly, completed on time, and properly documented. Ensure E-Maintenance calibrations are completed for all field instruments and transmitters. Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance activities are executed effectively. ________________________________________ Inventory & Asset Management Track and manage inventory for: oI&E materials oMaintenance pumps oPLC equipment and critical spare parts oVFD inventory Ensure critical spare parts are available to prevent downtime. ________________________________________ Training & Compliance Ensure all team members are up to date with required training (Frontline). Maintain accountability for team performance and development. ________________________________________ Commissioning & Field Coordination Ensure Maintenance and I&E teams complete all commissioning checklists. Coordinate LACT commissioning activities with internal teams and producers. Coordinate point-to-point checkouts with MIS. Verify systems are ready prior to PSSR sign-offs. Ensure voltage and system readiness between producer and LACT. ________________________________________ Communication & Stakeholder Coordination Maintain strong working relationships with producers and internal teams (MIS, Measurement, Operations). Ensure timely communication and coordination for commissioning and troubleshooting. ________________________________________
TECHNICAL & OPERATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
(SUPPORTING ROLE) (These support operations but are secondary to supervision) Monitor field-wide communications and identify weak signal areas. Manage LACT network performance and reliability. Ensure flow computers and instrumentation systems are functioning properly. Support troubleshooting efforts for I&E and Maintenance teams. Assist with significant event tracking and reporting. ________________________________________

SCADA, MIS & LDS
Coordination (Execution-Level Work) Creating and submitting documentation for SCADA (MIS) and Atmos (LDS) Managing register mapping and system integration details Activating/deactivating SIM cards and managing communication setups ________________________________________ Field-Level Technical Work Performing LACT pre-checks and inspections Assisting on field trouble calls (instrumentation, pumps, communications) Verifying system functionality hands-on prior to commissioning ________________________________________ Network & Communications Management (Hands-On) Assigning local IPs and managing static IP/SIM configurations Managing Verizon account for communications Installing/adjusting antennas and improving signal strength ________________________________________ Administrative & Tracking Tasks Maintaining pump tracker and inventory logs Completing significant events logs Managing detailed operational tracking beyond supervisory scope ________________________________________
QUALIFICATIONS
Strong knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems, including PLCs, VFDs, and SCADA systems Experience managing budgets, inventory, and maintenance programs Strong leadership and team management skills Working knowledge of NEC, OSHA, and industry standards Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to prioritize and manage multiple operational demands ________________________________________
