This leadership role is responsible for supporting efficient clinic operations, strong provider support, and consistent operational standards across all sites.
Reports To:
Practice Administrator The Clinical Operations Director supervises Office Managers and works closely with leadership to support continued growth and operational excellence across the organization. This role is ideal for an experienced healthcare operations leader who thrives in a multi-location environment and enjoys developing clinic leadership teams. Key Responsibilities Multi-Location Clinic Operations Oversee operational performance across dermatology clinic locations including: Alamo Heights Dominion Brooks Mission Trail New Braunfels Kenedy satellite clinic Ensure clinics operate efficiently with strong patient flow, appropriate staffing coverage, and effective provider support. Office Manager Leadership Supervise and develop Office Managers responsible for daily clinic operations.
Provide leadership guidance related to:
staffing management workflow organization patient experience operational accountability Support Office Managers in maintaining strong team performance and resolving operational challenges. Clinic Workflow and Operational Improvement Monitor clinic flow, staffing ratios, and provider support to maintain efficient operations. Identify operational bottlenecks and implement workflow improvements that enhance patient throughput and provider efficiency. Operational Consistency Maintain consistent operational processes across clinic locations and ensure policies, procedures, and workflow expectations are implemented effectively. Support implementation of new operational initiatives and clinic programs. Staffing and Workforce Planning Partner with leadership and Office Managers to maintain appropriate staffing levels and support recruitment, onboarding, and development of clinic staff. Skills & Competencies Leadership and development of clinic managers or Office Managers Ability to oversee operations across multiple clinic locations Strong understanding of healthcare clinic workflows and patient flow Excellent organizational and operational planning skills Strong communication and collaboration with physicians, staff, and leadership Problem-solving and operational decision-making in a fast-paced clinical environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Experience working with electronic medical record (EMR) systems Comfort using collaboration and project management tools (Microsoft Teams, Planner, etc) Qualifications Minimum 5 years healthcare operations leadership experience Experience supervising managers or clinic leaders Experience in multi-location clinic environments strongly preferred Dermatology or specialty practice experience preferred but not required
Compensation Salary:
