Our services include landscape maintenance, irrigation installation and repair, turf fertilization and weed control, erosion control, large-scale site maintenance for builders and developers, and snow removal services. We are looking for a motivated Operations Manager who can help us continue growing while maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency, and customer service. Position Summary Womack Services LLC is seeking a hands-on Operations Manager to oversee landscape maintenance, irrigation, turf care, erosion control, and special projects throughout North Texas. This position will manage field crews, coordinate schedules and logistics, oversee fleet and equipment maintenance, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and within budget. This is a hands-on leadership role. While most responsibilities involve managing operations and personnel, the ideal candidate must be willing to step into the field when necessary to train employees, troubleshoot issues, support crews, and ensure successful project completion. ResponsibilitiesOperations Management Manage and coordinate all landscape maintenance, irrigation, turf application, erosion control, and special project crews. Schedule maintenance routes and project work to maximize efficiency. Ensure all work is completed according to company standards and contract requirements. Monitor labor budgets and project performance. Coordinate material deliveries and project logistics. Assist with planning and execution of seasonal services, including snow operations. Employee Leadership Train, mentor, and develop field employees. Conduct jobsite visits and quality inspections. Hold team members accountable for performance, safety, attendance, and workmanship. Track crew productivity and efficiency. Assist with onboarding and training new employees. Foster a positive team culture while maintaining high expectations and accountability. Fleet & Equipment Management Oversee maintenance and repair schedules for trucks, trailers, equipment, and small engines. Coordinate outside repairs when necessary. Ensure crews properly maintain and care for company equipment. Maintain organized shop operations and equipment readiness. Perform or assist with minor equipment and shop repairs when needed. Customer & Property Management Ensure maintenance properties remain within contractual scope requirements. Identify potential proposal opportunities on existing properties. Resolve field issues before they impact customer satisfaction. Maintain strong relationships with customers through quality service delivery. Administrative Duties Review employee time records for accuracy prior to payroll submission. Utilize CRM software to manage scheduling, work orders, and operational workflows. Maintain accurate records related to crews, equipment, and projects. QualificationsRequired Minimum 2 years of landscape industry management or supervisory experience. Experience managing commercial landscape maintenance operations. Strong organizational and leadership skills. Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record. Ability to manage multiple crews and priorities simultaneously. Experience using CRM or service management software. Ability to work outdoors and in field environments when necessary. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Preferred Experience with irrigation systems and repairs. Experience with turf fertilization and weed control programs. Mechanical aptitude and equipment troubleshooting experience. Experience in construction, site development, or erosion control. Experience with Service Autopilot. Experience with Google Workspace. Bilingual (English/Spanish). Irrigation Technician License or related industry certifications. Schedule Monday through Friday Typical hours: 7:00 AM
  • 5:00 PM Average 45-50 hours per week Occasional overtime may be required during peak seasons, weather events, or project deadlines On-call availability for occasional irrigation emergencies Participation in snow operations is required during winter weather events What Success Looks Like Crews consistently complete work on schedule and within budget.
