Job Description
Overview Dynamic Freight Carriers Inc. is seeking an experienced and results-driven Transportation Operations Manager to oversee daily freight and logistics activities. This role is responsible for coordinating transportation operations, optimizing shipment performance, supporting carrier relationships, and ensuring exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced transportation environment. Responsibilities Manage and oversee daily freight transportation and logistics operations Coordinate with drivers, carriers, brokers, and customers to ensure on-time deliveries Monitor load status, shipment performance, and operational efficiency metrics Develop and implement strategies to improve routing, scheduling, and load utilization Maintain accurate records of freight documentation, invoices, and operational reports Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, safety standards, and company policies Investigate and resolve shipment delays, service issues, and customer concerns Support carrier procurement, relationship management, and performance evaluations Collaborate with leadership to identify process improvements and cost-saving opportunities Requirements 3+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, freight operations, or supply chain management Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, transportation management systems (TMS), and logistics software Strong understanding of freight operations and customer service principles Preferred Qualifications Experience with DAT, Truckstop, McLeod, or similar logistics platforms Knowledge of DOT regulations, carrier compliance, and fleet operations Experience with KPI reporting, operational analysis, and process improvement initiatives Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred Bilingual (English/Spanish or Russian) is a plus Pay & Benefits Competitive pay: $28 - $32 per hour Performance-based bonuses Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and company holidays Professional development and advancement opportunities Supportive and collaborative work environment Why Join Dynamic Freight Carriers Inc.?
