Job Description

Overview Our rapidly expanding start-up delivery company, is looking to expand our talented and hardworking team. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Hub Lead to oversee our warehouse operations. In this role, the ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily activities, ensuring efficient processes, and leading a team to achieve operational excellence. This position requires a strong background in warehouse management, logistics, and team leadership.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities to ensure smooth operations. Plan and coordinate dispatching shipments to ensure timely delivery, optimize load management, and route planning. Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory and manage logistics effectively. Train and mentor team members on best practices in warehouse operations. Oversee all aspects of the hub's daily operations, including receiving, shipping, sortation and dispatching goods. Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity. Provide leadership and support to enhance team performance, setting clear team goals, delegating tasks effectively, monitoring performance and providing feedback, identifying training needs, fostering communication, resolving conflicts, and supporting policy compliance. Executes operational tasks and procedures as directed by senior management. Implements hub strategies and procedural changes efficiently. Provides daily updates and acts on feedback regarding operational performance. Supports management initiatives and follows specific, assigned workflows.
Qualifications:
Strong understanding of logistics operations. Familiarity with 3PL (third-party logistics) environments is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical demands of the role effectively. Proven leadership experience, including the ability to prioritize work and provide guidance to staff. Basic proficiency in web-based and job-specific software applications. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously is required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Organizational and time management abilities. Problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Adaptability and strategic decision-making. Must possess a valid Driver's License. Must undergo a background check. Must be able to take and pass a drug test.. Previous experience in e-commerce fulfillment processes is beneficial. Candidates should possess excellent team management skills, a commitment to safety standards, and a proactive approach to problem-solving within the warehouse environment.
Shift & Compensation:
  • Pay:
    Salary
  • Shifts:
    Shift hours may vary between 5:00am
  • 5:30pm, depending on staffing needs or whenever daily workload is complete. It is possible that you may have to work longer shifts during peak season.
  • Availability:
    Candidates must be flexible to work any day of the week. Our standard delivery schedule is Monday
  • Saturday, and you must be adaptable to work any day of the week as needed.
