  • Summary (Scope of the Job)
  • Target Solutions is actively looking for a Roofing Assistant Project Manager. This person will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations and production for job sites. This person will assist the Project Manager with job site management, including pre-construction meetings and daily communication back to other team members.
  • What You'll Do
  • + Customer preconstruction meetings to explain the scope of work and schedule details/timetables for the work to be started and completed + Coordinate delivery of materials + Organized plan of daily accounting for materials at job site are accurate and correct quantities are received daily + Procuring material needs as needed for job site in the event items must be purchased locally + Conduct Project Start meeting with crews and review all daily safety needs with identifiable hazards or conditions for awareness + Daily reporting to production for job completion percentages, photos, issues + Manage project completion and conduct final walk with customer to close out job + Ensure that customer is satisfied and file appropriate paperwork for close out + Occasional safety coursework may be required + Able to travel 95% of the time to active jobsites, as directed by supervisor + Ensure crews are informed and aware of daily task + Ensure crews are properly dressed/branded in company uniform + Check dumpster levels and call for swaps 24hours before needed + Tools are secured either in job trailer or in a locked box on the roof nightly + Ladders are secured and tied down during the day and taken down and secured nightly + Equipment is in serviceable condition: no oil leaks, fueled, operating as intended, cleaned daily, and secured nightly + Site fencing is secure and stable + Ensure perishable material is protected from environmental factors + Developing site safety plans •What You Bring to the Table•
Experience:
  • + 3-5 years of experience in the roofing industry + Understands commercial roof systems + Able to communicate well + Jobsite management experience a plus + OSHA 10 certification + Safety knowledge a plus and supporting coursework valuable + Bilingual (Spanish) a plus, but not required
  • Competencies:
  • + Excellent communication skills + Able to problem solve + Self-motivated requiring minimal oversight + Able to perform in potential high-pressure or troubleshooting environments + Eager to learn and grow in their career + Works well as part of team

  • + Proficiency in MS Office + Job costing
