The restaurant group that brought you Five5eeds and now Matilda is seeking a new Maître D' as we approach the upcoming summer season. Matilda is looking for individuals who are enthusiastic about food, beverage, and hospitality to join the team as a leader of the host and reservation team. Opened in early 2025, Matilda has rapidly earned its place in the bustling Park City dining scene; already one of the most highly regarded and sought after dining destinations in the Wasatch. Matilda's seasonally conscious menu is centered around locally and ethically sourced ingredients that celebrate our owner's Australian heritage while simultaneously taking inspiration from cuisines worldwide.

Our team of hospitality professionals strives to set new standards for service in Park City. Qualified candidates will possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar chef-driven, high-end dining environment. As the Maître D' you will be the face of Matilda, orchestrating a personalized and authentically warm dining experience through seamless guest relations and service excellence.

Your role will involve:

Guest Experience Mastery:

Anticipating needs, curating personalized experiences, and ensuring each guest feels welcomed and valued.

Service Execution:

Overseeing dining room flow, coordinating with the FOH leadership team, and maintaining the highest levels of authentic engagement.

Reservation & Seating Strategy:

Managing VIP guests, special occasions, and dining room logistics to optimize service and ambiance.

Culture & Brand Stewardship:

Embodying the ethos of Matilda — authenticity, warmth, adeptness, and excellence in every interaction.

Leadership & Initiative:

The ability to lead a small team of hosts, enforcing protocols, and innovating in areas where you see potential.

What We're Looking For:

• Minimum 3 years of high-end, fine dining or comparable hospitality experience.
• An understanding of fine-dining service standards and the nuances of world-class hospitality and how to apply that quality of service without the rigidness of the standards.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a genuine passion for guest engagement.
