Kenworth Sales Co. is looking for a PacLease District Rental Manager to join our Salt Lake City, UT team. •100K+ depending on experience plus bonus•Due to federally mandated DOT regulations, Kenworth Sales Company is a drug-free workplace. JOB SUMMARY
The District Rental Manager oversees the PacLease rental fleet across six locations. This role is responsible for fleet utilization, revenue performance, and day-to-day rental operations. The ideal candidate will be highly organized and motivated who can manage competing priorities across multiple sites while building strong customer relationships and keeping the fleet profitable and organized.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and execute an annual business plan for the rental fleet, with monthly performance updates against plan. Build and manage sales and marketing efforts to drive fleet utilization and revenue across all six locations. Set fleet pricing and make recommendations to the Corporate PacLease Director on fleet size and mix. Oversee rental dispatch and vehicle returns during office hours; coordinate after-hours coverage with shop personnel. Communicate regularly with shop managers on fleet repairs, damage estimates, and customer rebilling. Maintain 100% rental insurance compliance and manage all damage documentation and inspections. Oversee collection of weekly mileage from rental customers and ensure accurate, timely billing. Handle accounts receivable follow-up, driver trip reports, and all related administrative duties. Work closely with service, finance, and other departments across the dealership. Complete all required Kenworth and PacLease training, goal is 100%. This position may require evening and weekend availability.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma required; college degree preferred or equivalent experience 3+ years of experience in fleet management, truck rental/leasing, or a related field. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; must have reliable transportation for sales calls.

Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple locations. Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with fleet or rental management software a plus.

Professional appearance and conduct required.
WORKING CONDITIONS
This position involves both office and field work, including regular travel between the six district locations. Physical requirements include climbing in and out of trucks, bending, stooping, and reaching. The role involves exposure to noise, vibration, dust, and other materials common in a truck dealership environment. Extended periods at a desk reviewing reports, entering data, and handling phone and email communication are also expected.
