We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager who is excited to lead teams, improve processes, and help shape the future of a company with a rich history and an exciting future. Position Summary The Operations Manager is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of Colton Inc., ensuring projects move efficiently from design through manufacturing and installation while maintaining exceptional quality and customer satisfaction. This position works closely with ownership and department leaders to improve operational performance, develop employees, streamline processes, monitor financial performance, and build a culture focused on teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is strongly preferred , as many members of our production team speak Spanish as their primary language. The ability to communicate effectively with all employees is essential to building strong relationships and creating an inclusive workplace. Key ResponsibilitiesOperations Leadership Oversee daily operations across manufacturing, installation, administration, and support departments. Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices. Monitor workflow, scheduling, productivity, and project completion. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and increase profitability. Support strategic planning and company growth initiatives. Financial & Administrative Oversight Oversee accounting-related processes and operational reporting. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost control. Monitor operational expenses and recommend improvements. Review production and financial metrics to support informed business decisions. Team Leadership Recruit, coach, mentor, and develop supervisors and employees. Foster a positive, respectful, and accountable workplace culture. Conduct performance evaluations and employee development planning. Partner with Human Resources regarding hiring, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management. Operational Excellence Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and industry regulations. Coordinate communication between departments to ensure projects remain on schedule. Resolve operational challenges and implement long-term corrective actions. Oversee inventory management, equipment utilization, and vendor relationships. Continuously evaluate and improve operational systems and processes. Customer Experience Help ensure every project meets Colton Inc.'s standards for quality, craftsmanship, and customer satisfaction. Collaborate with leadership to improve customer experience and operational performance. Support continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen the company's reputation. Qualifications 1-3+ years of operations, manufacturing, construction, or production management experience. Previous leadership experience managing multiple departments or teams. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Experience managing budgets, KPIs, and operational performance. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word). Experience with ERP, CRM, or production management software is preferred. Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
