Job Description

Night Supervisor 7pm-7am AdvantaStaff is looking to hire a Night Shift Supervisor in the Chester area. This is a temp to fulltime position with benefits including health insurance, paid time off, and more once eligibility requirements are met. Salary- $62,000 - $66,000 Based on experience •Working Shift 7pm-7am Working 2 days on/2 days off/every other weekend The position is primarily night shift/7pm-7am You have to be flexible to assist on 7am-7pm when needed •Training Shift 7am-3:30pm Monday-Friday 1-3 months depending on progress and operational needs
Objective:
The role is primarily responsible for providing coverage for shifts when the primary supervisor is unavailable. During periods without coverage needs, the candidate will typically assist with day shift projects and operational support.
Qualifications:
Education- must have an associate degree (or higher) or previous supervisory experience. Must pass drug screen and background check. Must have demonstrated advance leadership skills and a solid commitment to safety as well as the company in general. Must have good oral and written skills, detailed oriented, good interpersonal skills. Must have quality system experience and Microsoft Office computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Job Description and Duties:
Manage the production floor during assigned shifts, ensuring equipment is operating efficiently and that staffing levels are appropriate. Provide supervisory coverage during vacations, illnesses, and other absences, which may include working day or night shifts based on operational needs. Manage, coach, and motivate employees to perform their jobs safely, effectively, and in accordance with company quality procedures, as well as facility safety and security policies. When not providing shift coverage, assist leadership with operational projects, process improvement initiatives, training support, and other assigned supervisory responsibilities. Administrative Duties include but are not limited to: Completion of daily shift reports, weekly timecard reporting, monthly and quarterly attendance tracking, training and certification support, and preparation of written and verbal reports. Requires regular use of computer systems and the ability to interface effectively with other departments (Production Planning, Systems, Process Engineering Maintenance, etc.) to identify, address, and resolve operational issues. Other assignments as deemed necessary by management.
