Job Description

Glen Manor Vineyards - Assistant Winery Manager (Part-Time) About Glen Manor Vineyards We are a small, family-owned and operated vineyard & tasting room dedicated to creating exceptional wines and memorable guest experiences in a welcoming atmosphere. Our tasting room is the heart of our business, and we take pride in sharing our passion for winemaking, hospitality, and this farm with every guest. Position Overview We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and hands-on Assistant Winery Manager to support the daily operations of our tasting room and vineyard business. This part-time position works approximately 25-30 hours per week, primarily Thursday through Sunday, with flexibility for some Sundays off. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, thrives in a small-team environment, and is willing to jump in wherever needed to help create an outstanding guest experience. Responsibilities Provide exceptional hospitality and wine education to guests; lead tastings Handle customer transactions and POS system operations Execute opening and closing procedures Help manage restocking & movig wine Assist Winery Manager with staff training & administrative tasks as needed Maintain cleanliness and organization of the tasting room and outdoor guest areas Support winery events, private tastings, and weekend activities Collaborate closely with Winery Manager & ownership on operational needs and guest experience improvements Occasionally assist with light vineyard or production-related tasks as needed Qualifications Prior hospitality, winery, tasting room, or hospitality experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a small team Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Weekend availability required, especially Thursdays through Sundays Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs Must be 21 years of age or older
Schedule & Compensation Part-time:
