From Buddy Lou's camper bar to thoughtfully curated local offerings, we're creating a destination that's a little different. Operations Manager Reports To:
General Manager FLSA Status:
Exempt (Salary) Leadership & Operations Assist the General Manager in overseeing the daily operation of KG Motel. Lead daily hotel operations while maintaining the highest standards of guest service, cleanliness, and professionalism. Support all operational departments, including Front Desk, Housekeeping, Laundry, Buddy Lou's mobile bar, and basic property maintenance as business demands require. Provide shift coverage during staffing shortages, emergencies, vacations, or periods of high/low occupancy. Maintain communication with all shifts including Night Audit. Conduct daily property walks to identify maintenance concerns, safety hazards, cleanliness opportunities, and operational improvements. Ensure all KG Motel policies, procedures, and service standards are consistently followed. Assist with on-going sales efforts to include Group Blocks, VIPs, Special Requests, Marketing & PR. Promote use of system technologies to streamline property operations. Attend monthly financial/asset review meetings and support ownership in project vision. Qualifications Previous hospitality supervisory or management experience preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to motivate, coach, and develop team members. Excellent guest service and problem-solving skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Proficiency with hotel property management systems and Microsoft Office. Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English with guests, management and other co-workers. Must meet standards of appearance and maintain a high level of personal hygiene at all times. Physical Requirements Frequently stand and walk for extended periods. Lift up to 40 pounds. Bend, stoop, kneel, climb stairs, and perform light physical work. Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Assist in operational departments as business needs require.
