Director of Operations - Mechanical Construction (OOJ - 46552) 120000-140000 / US Dollars / Annual Salary NPAworldwide Recruitment Network update Last updated: Jun/22/2026 Job Description Lead and motivate the project management team by creating vision, accountability, and opportunity. Establish annual division goals and monitor progress toward achieving them. Drive project profitability through oversight of forecasting, billings, change order management, and project performance. Review operational and financial reports to ensure division success. Maintain and strengthen customer, supplier, and subcontractor relationships. Support and oversee pre-construction, estimating, and proposal efforts. Develop and mentor Project Managers through evaluations, coaching, and targeted training. Monitor staffing needs and participate in hiring decisions for the division. Foster and maintain a culture of teamwork, accountability, and professionalism across the team. Ensure ethical leadership and professionalism in all business operations.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 15 years of mechanical construction experience. Engineering license preferred. Strong knowledge of mechanical system costs and budgeting practices. Proven leadership and supervisory experience. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to build strong teams and develop employees.
