Operations Manager

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to oversee activities at a dynamic service yard in Suffolk, Virginia. This role is ideal for someone who excels at managing heavy equipment services, optimizing workflows, and leading a talented team. The successful candidate will focus on maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Direct and manage day-to-day site operations, including scheduling, installations, and workflow coordination.
• Monitor and achieve production goals for equipment handling, service efficiency, and storage.
• Oversee staffing, training, and development initiatives for technicians and yard personnel.
• Implement strategies to improve operational processes and reduce downtime.
• Ensure all work adheres to technical specifications and safety regulations.
• Organize and maintain inventory, site layout, and equipment readiness.
• Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational effectiveness.
• Manage cost controls to align with financial performance targets.
• Support operations at other sites when needed and assist with the setup of new locations.
