Job Description
Job Summary The Operations Manager will regularly assess the CAD system along with other operating systems utilized on the floor; dispatch operations and provide recommendations for improvements and modifications as needed, ensuring that the center is in a state of perpetual readiness through regular testing, exercise and maintenance. The Operations Manager will play a key role in long-range strategic planning, including best technical practices and operational procedures, as well as governing laws and regulations. T Duties Lead and supervise 911 Dispatchers, including hiring, training, and developing team members to ensure high performance and excellent emergency response. Oversee dispatch training, continuing education, team building Manage dispatch operations such as shift scheduling and maintain operational efficiency. Ensure compliance with PSAP regulations, policies, and operational procedures Utilize strong leadership skills Qualifications Five (5)+ years work experience with a Public Safety Communications Center or equivalent; Five (5)+ years experience in a public safety computer aided dispatch (CAD) system BA/BS preferred, or 4+ years of relevant work experience; ACCESS Level II Cert or within (1) year of hire Join us as an Operations Manager to lead with energy and purpose—empowering our 911 Center!
