Operations Manager Facility:
Distribution and Logistics Warehouse Are you a leader who will thrive on helping others grow while making a big impact in a growing logistics company? RBW Logistics is looking for a passionate, purpose-driven Operations Manager to guide our warehouse team to success-one person, one process, and one opportunity at a time. What You'll Do The Operations Manager is responsible for the end-to-end leadership of a multi-client third-party logistics (3PL) warehouse that supports both B2B and B2C fulfillment operations. This role ensures day-to-day execution, team leadership, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement across a complex, high-volume distribution environment. The Operations Manager will drive results through strong operational discipline, data-driven decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration. Your Impact Operational Leadership (B2B & B2C Focus) Manage full-spectrum warehouse operations across receiving, put-away, inventory control, order fulfillment (pick/pack/ship), returns, kitting, and value-added services (VAS), supporting both pallet-level B2B and unit-level D2C channels. Balance and coordinate the operational demands of wholesale orders (LTL/FTL), eCommerce small-parcel fulfillment (e.g., FedEx, UPS, USPS), and retail compliance (EDI, ASN, labeling) across multiple client profiles. Ensure each client's SOPs and SLAs are executed with precision, adjusting workflows to meet varying volume spikes, customer-specific requirements, and seasonality. Optimize pick/pack operations for high-velocity B2C orders, while maintaining load efficiency, documentation accuracy, and dock scheduling for B2B shipments. Drive warehouse layout and process efficiency , including slotting strategy, pick path optimization, wave planning, and order batching for both order profiles. Ensure inventory accuracy through proactive cycle counting, reconciliation processes, and system integrity within the WMS; lead root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies. Leverage WMS, dashboards, and data analytics to monitor operational performance, labor productivity, and order cycle times, and to proactively identify bottlenecks or delays. Coordinate with transportation teams to meet carrier cut-offs, routing guide compliance, and on-time delivery metrics for both domestic and international shipments. Lead implementation of new client accounts , working cross-functionally with IT, engineering, customer service, and finance to ensure smooth onboarding and go-live execution. Conduct daily operations briefings and weekly business reviews with teams and clients, ensuring visibility into performance, upcoming demand, and areas of improvement. Own and drive adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards , including
OSHA, FDA
(if applicable), and customer audit readiness. Team Management Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of supervisors, leads, and hourly staff across multiple shifts and functional areas. Create and manage labor plans to meet service requirements while controlling costs; flex staffing to accommodate daily volume fluctuations and promotional spikes. Foster a positive, accountable team culture centered around safety, performance, and continuous improvement. Customer Engagement Serve as the key operational liaison for assigned customer accounts, handling escalations, reporting, and service reviews. Manage client-specific KPIs and service expectations, including DIFOT, inventory accuracy, same-day shipping, and returns processing time. Support QBRs and reporting needs with data-driven insights, operational trends, and improvement plans. Process & Continuous Improvement Identify inefficiencies and waste in workflows and implement LEAN best practices (5S, standard work, root cause analysis, etc.). Lead or participate in CAPA initiatives, RCA sessions, and corrective action planning for internal or customer-identified issues. Partner with engineering and systems teams to implement automation, WMS enhancements, or new technologies. Reporting & Compliance Monitor and report on operational KPIs, productivity, cost-to-serve, and labor utilization. Ensure compliance with corporate policies, OSHA safety standards, quality standards, and client-specific audit protocols. Maintain clean and auditable documentation, logs, and reports across all areas of responsibility. What You'll Need to Succeed Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or equivalent leadership experience 5+ years of warehouse or logistics operations experience, including 3PL and multi-client environments. Proven experience managing both B2B and B2C/eCommerce distribution models. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage 30+ associates and multiple customer accounts. Hands-on experience with WMS systems; experience with Deposco, Manhattan, or similar platforms a plus. Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
