The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who brings drive, technical HVAC knowledge, and both sales and business acumen. Duties & Responsibilities This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing service execution, technician performance, customer experience, safety and compliance, and overall operational results within an established commercial and residential HVAC service division. Oversee daily scheduling, dispatching, and workflow coordination for a field service team Optimize routing and job efficiency to maximize productivity and service quality Manage on-call coverage and emergency response processes Monitor job progress and operational performance through field service software Support and drive service department performance, including revenue growth and profitability Track and evaluate key operational and performance metrics Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and pricing strategy Support growth of service agreements and maintenance programs Recruit, develop, and retain skilled HVAC technicians Provide coaching, performance feedback, and ongoing development planning Lead regular team meetings and individual performance check-ins Support technical training and certification development Serve as escalation point for customer concerns and complex service issues Maintain strong service agreement performance and customer satisfaction levels Monitor feedback and implement service improvement efforts Support relationships with key commercial accounts Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements Conduct safety meetings and field inspections Support fleet, tools, and inventory oversight Skills & Experience 5+ years of HVAC field experience (residential and/or commercial) required 2+ years of supervisory or management experience in HVAC or field operations required EPA Section 608 Certification required Experience with field service management systems required Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills required Ability to build a culture of positive accountability required Valid driver's license with clean driving record required NATE Certification or equivalent technical credentials preferred Experience managing residential and commercial service operations preferred Background in service agreement / maintenance program development preferred Experience in performance-driven or incentive-based environments preferred Self-starter with the ability to quickly evaluate operations, identify opportunities, and execute with a high degree of independence Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, HVAC Technology, or other related field preferred
Compensation & Benefits Salary:
$110,000-$130,000 (baseplus incentives) Vacation, holidays, and paid sick leave 401K with company match Fully paid health, vision, and dental insurance Paid company phone Great working environment Relocation package provided, if needed Travel per diem, as needed This is a full-time Monday - Friday position with occasional after-hours availability for emergency or after-hours service needs. #HP1
