This person ensures that the systems, spaces, and communications of the church foster connection, belonging, and effective ministry. With attention to detail and a heart for people, the Coordinator supports staff, volunteers, and the broader congregation in living out the church's mission. Why work with us? Communications Coordination (Internal & External) Develop and manage clear, consistent communication across all platforms. Coordinate and maintain church calendars and scheduling. Create and distribute weekly emails and monthly newsletters. Design and share posters, announcements, and promotional materials. Manage and update social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram). Maintain and update the church website. Coordinate newspaper ads and other community communications. 2. Building Use Coordination Serve as the primary liaison for all building users (internal and external). Welcome and onboard new building users. Create and manage building use agreements. Maintain and oversee the building use calendar to ensure smooth scheduling. Track building user payments and report any lack of payment to the Pastor. 3. Ministry Support Coordinate with vendors alongside the Trustees team (e.g., elevator repair, inspections, maintenance). Provide administrative support for committees and ministry teams, including: Sending meeting reminders Printing agendas and minutes as needed Maintaining organized records of agendas and minutes in Google Drive Process and distribute bills and invoices with appropriate documentation to relevant teams. 4. Office Administration Respond to all voicemails and emails by the end of the next business day. When Office Angels are not present: Answer phone calls Greet and assist walk-in visitors Provide hospitality and direction to guests Maintain an organized, welcoming office environment. Order and manage office and church supplies, following proper reimbursement protocols. Communicate important pastoral care or community concerns to appropriate staff and lay leaders, maintaining confidentiality and permission protocols. Distribute mail, email communications, and internal messages. Compile data and information for reports, decision-making, and special projects. Produce and distribute an updated church directory annually. 5. Breeze (Church Management Software) Administration Support staff and volunteers in effectively using Breeze as a people-management tool. Coordinate with the Weaver of People and Systems on maintaining Breeze. Qualifications & Skills Strong organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with digital tools (Google Workspace, social media platforms, databases, client resources management software). Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with flexibility. A collaborative spirit and ability to work with staff and volunteers. Commitment to confidentiality and professional boundaries. Pay:
$26.75 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 per week
