Variable Operations Director

Roles & Responsibilities:

Work cohesively with dealership-level variable ops teams to ensure consistent processes execution, including lead handling, Morrie's Promise process, customer follow-up, etc. Drive accountability of the management teams toward the improvement of lead handling metrics: contact percentage, appointment setting/confirmation, appointment sold, unsold follow-up, etc. Ensure consistent Used Car strategies throughout the market such as consistent pricing/inventory strategy, reconditioning standards, and lot merchandising standards. Support store level product specialists with training on phone scripts, customer follow-up, VIN Solutions, and phone systems, Monitor CRM utilization and provide key updates to key metrics to serve as success benchmarks Work closely with other corporate leadership on initiatives, strategy, and execution of variable ops initiatives, while driving a culture of employee development and retention. Provide direction to the centralized vehicle acquisition team on areas to focus, vehicles standards for the market, and maximizing gross profit. Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the Company's expectations as it pertains to interactions with customers, colleagues, subordinates, and vendors. Manage vendor relationships with applicable partners (i.e. VinSolutions, Carwars, auctions partners, etc.)

What You Offer:
