Job Description
Director of Operations as Electrical/Construction Business Manager 524 South Albert Avenue, Reedsburg, WI 53959 Full-time Full-time Service Electric of Reedsburg is seeking a detail-oriented and versatile individual to join our team in an office role supporting daily operations. Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Manage the company's billing processes, including invoices and recordkeeping Handle payment applications for larger projects Assist with tax-related filings and financial documentation Prepare and price estimates for smaller jobs (details of job will be provided by field electrician). Work with ownership to forecast financial needs Schedule field employees and coordinate job assignments Order materials and supplies for projects Apply for permits and ensure compliance with local regulations Coordinate maintenance schedules for office and field equipment (daily, monthly, yearly) Support management of field employees through weekly meetings and safety coordination Organize and schedule safety training (e.g., CPR certification)
Qualifications:
Strong organizational and multitasking skills Experience with bookkeeping, scheduling, or office management preferred Excellent communication skills Ability to work collaboratively with both office staff and field employees Familiarity with construction and electrical industry policies, including permitting processes, safety regulations (e.g., OSHA), and compliance requirements Demonstrated proficiency in bookkeeping software, such as QuickBooks, to support billing, payment processing, and financial trackingBenefits:
