Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Director of Operations to lead our manufacturing organization and drive operational excellence across the business. This is a senior leadership role reporting directly to the President, with responsibility for delivering high-quality outdoor furniture through efficient, safe, and scalable operations. Responsibilities:

Lead all operational functions including manufacturing, engineering, materials, logistics, warehouse, shipping, and maintenance Drive production performance to meet quality, cost, and delivery goals Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with company growth Champion Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives Ensure a strong culture of safety and quality (OSHA compliance) Partner with leadership across Finance, HR, and Commerce teams Hire, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team Oversee inventory accuracy and operational metrics

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or Business (with manufacturing experience) 8-10+ years of leadership experience in metal fabrication or custom manufacturing Strong knowledge of welding, fabrication, and finishing processes (powder coating, galvanizing, e-coating) Experience with SolidWorks (2023+), ERP/MRP systems (Sage 100 Preferred), and Microsoft Office Proven ability to lead teams, improve processes, and drive results Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
