What You'll Do Lead airport and FBO operations across airfield, terminal, facilities, maintenance, ARFF, fueling, safety, security, regulatory compliance, and emergency readiness functions. Develop and support a highly experienced team through staffing, scheduling, supervision, training, mentoring, accountability, cross-training, and succession strength. Maintain FAA Part 139 readiness , including the Airport Certification Manual, self-inspections, records, training, snow and ice control, wildlife hazard management, construction safety phasing, and corrective action follow-through. Support airport security and emergency management , including TSA coordination, Airport Security Coordinator responsibilities, ARFF readiness, emergency exercises, incident response, and severe-weather preparedness. Oversee maintenance and asset reliability for airport facilities, grounds, airfield infrastructure, vehicles, equipment, fuel systems, utilities, airfield lighting, weather systems, and building systems. Help manage fuel and aircraft support services , including fuel farm oversight, quality control, inventory, purchasing, environmental compliance, and aircraft ground handling. Contribute to capital improvement and infrastructure planning , including procurement, construction coordination, grant support, closeout, equipment replacement, and long-term asset management. Work directly with airport leadership on budgets, policy, board priorities, stakeholder relationships, community engagement, operational efficiencies, and strategic initiatives. Represent the airport professionally with tenants, airlines, contractors, consultants, government agencies, emergency responders, pilots, community organizations, elected officials, and the public. Step in where needed , including hands-on operational support, maintenance activities, inspections, snow removal, emergency response, fueling, and backup leadership responsibilities when circumstances require it. Five or more years of experience in airport operations, airport public safety, airport facilities, FBO operations, aviation management, or a closely related field. Working knowledge of airport safety, security, maintenance, emergency response, facilities management, regulatory compliance, and customer-service principles. Ability to communicate clearly with employees, tenants, airlines, contractors, public officials, emergency responders, pilots, community stakeholders, and the traveling public. Valid Wyoming driver's license within 30 days of employment and ability to pass required

CHRC, TSA

Security Threat Assessment, drug screening, and airport security requirements. Airport Security Coordinator certification, required or ability to obtain within three months. Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting certification, required or ability to obtain within six months.

ICS/NIMS

100, 200, 300, 400, and 700, required or ability to obtain within 12 months. Preferred Qualifications Experience at an FAA Part 139 certificated commercial service airport. At least one year of supervisory experience in an operational, safety-critical, aviation, public-service, or facilities environment. AAAE Airport Certified Employee in Airfield Operations and/or Airport Security, or ability to obtain within 12 months. AAAE Certified Member, or ability to obtain within 24 months. Experience with snow operations, wildlife hazard management, airport fueling, fuel quality control, aircraft ground handling, environmental compliance, or emergency management. Experience supporting capital improvement projects, grants, procurement, construction coordination, contract administration, or airport planning. Pilot's license preferred. The Reality of the Role Airport operations are not always neat, predictable, or confined to business hours. This role requires flexibility, sound judgment, and availability when weather, emergencies, security issues, aircraft operations, fueling needs, airfield conditions, facilities issues, or operational disruptions demand attention. Competitive salaried compensation:

$90,000 to $140,000, exempt. A full-time leadership role, generally 40 hours per week, with the understanding that airport operations occasionally require availability outside normal business hours.
