Selector (Night shift)

Job Summary The Selector is responsible for accurately picking and preparing customer orders consisting of refrigerated products, including meat, dairy, and produce. This role operates within a multi-level warehouse environment and ensures that orders are selected, palletized, wrapped, and staged for shipment safely, efficiently, and on time. Job Description Accurately pick cases, bags, and containers of refrigerated food items to fulfill customer orders Build and organize pallets using products stored in multi-level racking systems Transport completed pallets to the shipping dock using equipment such as a power jack or forklift Wrap, label, and stage orders to ensure readiness for shipment Verify order accuracy and inspect products for quality and any damage Review daily assignments and prepare required tools and equipment Use a voice-directed (Vox) system or pick sheets to locate and select items Conduct safety inspections on equipment before use Operate warehouse equipment safely along designated picking routes Manually retrieve products from first and second-level storage racks Confirm product quantities and complete necessary documentation Rotate inventory based on expiration dates to maintain product freshness Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including racks, docks, and trailers Dispose of waste materials such as packaging, cardboard, and damaged pallets Sort, stack, and store empty pallets in designated areas Support trailer loading and assist with other assigned warehouse tasks Manage equipment battery charging and replacement as needed Complete end-of-shift responsibilities, including securing equipment and finalizing paperwork Required Skills Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English Strong adherence to safety guidelines and company policies Ability to follow instructions and complete required training programs Capability to meet productivity and performance standards Flexibility to work assigned shifts, including overtime when required Education High School Diploma or GED required "We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
