Order Entry Specialist

Come join our 110+ year young company. We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and motivated Order Entry Specialist to join our team in the lumber and building materials industry. This role is critical to ensuring accurate and timely processing of customer orders in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. We are conveniently located in beautiful Winter Haven, FL and offer a warm, family atmosphere. As a member of the Order Entry Support team, you will serve as a liaison between our customers, operations, and other areas of the Company. You are a point of reference for colleagues and customers alike by managing, documentation, and providing feedback, so multi-tasking skills are a must!

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately enter and process customer orders into the system Review orders for completeness, pricing accuracy, and product specifications Communicate with customers, and vendors to clarify order details as needed Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, and delivery teams to ensure timely fulfillment Maintain organized and up-to-date records of orders and customer information Identify and resolve discrepancies or issues proactively

Qualifications:

Strong attention to detail and accuracy is required Proven ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Excellent work ethic and reliability Proficient with computers and comfortable learning new software systems Strong communication and problem-solving skills Preferred Experience (Highly Desired): Experience reading blueprints and construction plans Knowledge of or experience with doors, trim, windows, or other building materials Prior experience in order entry, construction supply, or related industry Rate of pay will be DOE.
