Summer Freezer Worker - Days

Position responsible for performing all duties around picking pallets for an order. Ensure compliance to Food Safety and Quality programs and processes. Storing Pallets in the

ASRS:

• Hauling Pallets
• Inducting Pallets Preparing Product for Storage in the

ASRS:

• Stacking Pallets (when necessary)
• Wrapping Pallets
• Labeling Pallets Complete all job duties in accordance with any applicable:
• Safety Procedures / Policies
• Work Documents such as: Standard Operating Procedures, Standard Works, Talking Points
• Best Practices
• Verbal instructions from Freezer Leadership Pick Pallets for an

Order:

• Retrieve an LPN tag with contents of the pallet.
• Stack the product on the pallet so that it is stable.
• Verify the accuracy of the items and quantities on the pallet.

Pay:

$22.00-$22.50 per hour. Approximate shift start time of 4:55 AM or 6:55 AM. High School, GED or equivalent. Warehouse experience and forklift knowledge preferred. Must have knowledge of or be able to learn the following: basic safety and orientation knowledge, systems flow and overview of all departments of the freezer, specialized knowledge and ability to be trained in area of work. Time management and effective communication skills. Must be able to perform all required duties in an efficient safe manner. Must be able to pass proficiency tests in the allotted amount of time after training.

Must have the following abilities:

read, write, interpret instructions, perform tasks requiring manual dexterity, work with a sense of urgency, troubleshoot, problem solve. Must be able to work well in team environment and perform duties with a positive attitude. Must be able to meet the Physical Demand Assessment Standards.
