Order Entry Specialist

Aston Carter is hiring an Order Entry Specialist! Job Description As an Order Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for managing interactions with 10 large OEM customers by providing support with orders, deliveries, and inquiries. You will primarily communicate with clients via email, with occasional phone interactions, to ensure efficient and accurate order processing. Responsibilities Enter orders into the system and ensure accuracy. Review purchase orders and input them into the system. Monitor freight dates and keep customers informed about timelines. Track and trace shipments to ensure timely delivery. Process, review, and follow up on invoices to ensure completion. Provide accurate quotes to customers upon request. Essential Skills At least 2 years of experience in order entry. Proficiency in customer service and data entry. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and basic Excel skills. Familiarity with purchase orders and invoices. Strong client communication skills. Administrative support and clerical proficiency. Additional Skills & Qualifications Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Basic math skills. Work Environment Work in a small family office environment within a cubicle setting. Equipment is provided, and you will report directly to the CEO. The position operates Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with no regular weekend work required. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage once the position becomes permanent. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carol Stream, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
