Order Management Specialist Job Description As an Order Management Specialist, you will be responsible for accurately inputting customer orders into ERP systems, ensuring all information is correct and up to date. You will respond to customer inquiries regarding their orders, resolve issues promptly, and maintain sales and work orders. Your role will involve coordinating inventory, managing parts shortages, and aligning cross-functional processes. You will track shipments, monitor KPIs for order accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and participate in continuous process improvement initiatives. Responsibilities Accurately input customer orders into ERP systems. Respond to customer inquiries and resolve order-related issues. Create and maintain sales and work orders. Coordinate inventory and manage parts shortages. Track shipments, PODs, and communicate updates to functional owners. Monitor KPIs for order accuracy. Troubleshoot order discrepancies, delayed shipments, or damaged goods. Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives. Perform other related duties as assigned. Essential Skills Order entry and management. Customer relationship management. Supply chain and logistics knowledge. Proficiency in ERP systems, including NetSuite, SAP, and Oracle. Strong Microsoft Excel skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Typically 2-4+ years of experience in order fulfillment, supply chain, logistics, or a related administrative role. Proficiency in Order Management Systems (OMS) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong problem-solving capabilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
