Job Description
General Summary:
A Repack Associate performs a critical role in our food logistics process by performing the duties needed within the warehouse, consisting primarily of repacking product, performing quality inspections and pulling of orders as needed. Other warehouse duties are needed from time to time including special projects, normal warehouse activities, assistance with inventory and the like. In addition, we all work to maintain cleanliness in the warehouse.What You'll Do:
Obey all safety standards for the warehouse. Promote a safety culture through team meetings and activities. Communicate with the warehouse team and procurement team on any issues or concerns related to stock on hand. Double check orders and quality to ensure all product and orders meet high standards Make recommendations on when product should be pulled from inventory and not utilized for customer orders. Inspect all product upon arrival to ensure quality standards have been maintained through transit. Maintain accurate quality records, including product temperatures. Assist with Cycle counts and reserve checks. Sanitation activities Help to ensure product rotation in a First-In-First-Out (FIFO) method. Note any quality issues with product being repacked; discard bad product in the appropriate process. Pull product from the warehouse, repackage as needed, and return product to inventory. Follow high standards to ensure all repacked items are weighed appropriately and are of high quality. Maintain accurate records including scale calibration in the repack station(s). Ensure all repacked products are labeled correctly and provide all required information. Have fun and be a part of making Foster amazing!!! What You'll Bring to theTable:

Strong attention to detail, as strict standards must be met to ensure accuracy of product including weight and description. Desire to assess situations, determine a course of action, and relay that opinion based on facts. Computer/PC skills to input data, create reports, and generate work orders. A genuine interest in ensuring we provide quality food products to our customers. Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis, and do so safely.
