- This position is from 8:30a.m
- 5:00p.m EST
- Process incoming wholesale orders from the sales team ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Communicate with the sales rep regarding stock issues, ship dates, past due invoices, and exceeding credit limits.
- Process various e-commerce orders from our online store(s) or other platforms
- Convert sales quotes to sales orders in our ERP system
- Collect customer payments
- Create shipments for the warehouse outlining important notes and ship dates
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth order fulfillment
- Escalate order issues such as delays or inventory discrepancies to team lead or supervisor
- Analyze open sales order and purchase order reports
- Create purchase orders as necessary and correspond with vendors on costs and lead time to ensure profitability and time lines
- Approve and upload order acknowledgements, create receipts, and upload/send tracking information
- Assist in arranging freight via LTL freight management systems
- Stay up to date with industry trends and department updates as necessary
- Analyze order data to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement
- Assist in other divisions as needed such as general processing and marketplaces
Experience:
- Previous experience in order processing or supply chain management preferred
- Strong analytical skills to analyze order data and identify areas for improvement
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- Ability to adapt to new processes and procedures
- Ability to work independently and remain on task This position offers competitive compensation and benefits.
