Responsibilities:
  • This position is from 8:30a.m
  • 5:00p.m EST
  • Process incoming wholesale orders from the sales team ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Communicate with the sales rep regarding stock issues, ship dates, past due invoices, and exceeding credit limits.
  • Process various e-commerce orders from our online store(s) or other platforms
  • Convert sales quotes to sales orders in our ERP system
  • Collect customer payments
  • Create shipments for the warehouse outlining important notes and ship dates
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth order fulfillment
  • Escalate order issues such as delays or inventory discrepancies to team lead or supervisor
  • Analyze open sales order and purchase order reports
  • Create purchase orders as necessary and correspond with vendors on costs and lead time to ensure profitability and time lines
  • Approve and upload order acknowledgements, create receipts, and upload/send tracking information
  • Assist in arranging freight via LTL freight management systems
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and department updates as necessary
  • Analyze order data to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement
  • Assist in other divisions as needed such as general processing and marketplaces
Experience:
  • Previous experience in order processing or supply chain management preferred
  • Strong analytical skills to analyze order data and identify areas for improvement
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to adapt to new processes and procedures
  • Ability to work independently and remain on task This position offers competitive compensation and benefits.
