Job Description SUMMARY The Warehouse Order Processor performs a variety of duties within the Warehouse to accomplish fulfillment of customer orders in a timely manner. Specifically this position will be responsible for obtaining customer order information, pulling product from inventory, cutting certain materials to customer specifications, packing material to customer specifications and preparing and scheduling shipment of the product.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ability to timely obtain orders from appropriate personnel Ability to operate a forklift to pull all required materials necessary to complete each order and supply saw Accurately and timely process orders and bill of ladings for each LTL order Accurately input dimension data to sample cutting saw Accurately input sample label information for sample label and package label into printer Ability to safely and accurately operate all components of sawing and packaging systems, including dust extraction Ability to change sawing system blades safely and prepare used blades for sharpening while following all appropriate procedures Ability to set up and operate shrink film machine and heat tunnel Ability to install shrink film in machine as required Ability to assure all orders are labelled correctly for shipment Accurately scan inventory being shipped from the warehouse to the COM area Accurately and timely process cycle counts on COM inventory Following all required safety procedures, palletize orders for each LTL and sample order Accurately and timely package each UPS order following all specific requirements from company Accurately and timely process all RMA returns and complete correct paperwork as needed Accurately put partials into the correct PTRW locations and create full pallets if it is needed Fix damaged and dropped pallets that are moved to RWK throughout the day Qualifications
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Ability to handle multiple priorities, stress, provide detailed work, sound reasoning, and meet required deadlines The ability to be flexible in duties, analytical and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills The ability to be exceptionally self-motivated and directed, organized, and a keen attention to detail The ability to work consistently on a concrete plant production floor and in multiple (loud, hot, cold, dirty, etc.) environmental conditions Good vision with or without corrective lenses The ability to be available for on-call and periodic overtime The ability to frequently bend, lift (minimum 50 lbs unassisted), stand for extended periods of time, kneel and move for extended periods of time The ability to have dexterity of hands and fingers to utilize appropriate equipment and tools Excellent attendance record Additional Information
