Job Description
Job purpose Responsible for entering orders into our ERP system in a timely manner with a high degree of accuracy Duties and responsibilities Process orders into our ERP system Review orders for accuracy before submitting Work with Order Entry team to ensure all orders are processed by specific cut off times Update customer specific information in Epicor with new Ship to addresses and ship to contacts Maintain accuracy rate of 99.7% or above Contact customers to gain clarification on specific purchase order requirements Assist with daily order filing Keep filing room organized with shipping documents and purchase orders Monitor multiple dashboards to ensure all orders are processed in a timely manner Review and finish processing Ecommerce orders in our ERP system Work with different departments to ensure order requests can be met Back up for phone system. Handle incoming calls from and transfer calls to appropriate representative when necessary Support team goals and objectives Other administrative tasks as assigned Additional duties assigned by management. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Detailed oriented and high degree of accuracy required Previous data entry experience preferred Excellent oral and written communication skills Computer & keyboarding skills Proficiency in MS Word & Excel Previous ERP experience required Ability to multitask The ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Reasoning ability - the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to work independently and take appropriate corrective action when minor problems arise Supervisory Responsibilities None Physical Demands Must be able to sit/stand for 8 hours The ability to use arms/hands/fingers to feel and reach Be able to bend/stoop/kneel as needed Must be able to hear and talk to communicate with customers Must be able to push/pull/ lift at least 45 lbs. individually and 50 lbs. with the help of a team member Must be able to sit/stand for 8 hours Ability to work in an interactive office group setting, and spend primary working hours at a desk using a computer and other office equipment such as printers, copiers, postage machines, etc. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and infrequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and depth. Safety Requirements Ability to wear required PPE if in any manufacturing area.
