Job Description
Summary of Position/Purpose:
The Order Processing Specialist is responsible for the entry and processing of customer's purchase orders within the set policies and guidelines. Essential Duties, Functions and/orResponsibilities:
Sales order entry Work with the Accounting department to establish or revise terms per customer requests Ensure orders on credit hold are reviewed and released in a timely manner Work with the Shipping department to ensure that orders are processed in a timely manner and, in accordance with requested shipping method Ensure each order contains correct promotions and rebate codes Review backlog twice weekly to ensure all orders are fulfilled in a timely manner Open service orders for new/used/rental units prior to shipping Perform warehouse transfers Indirectly responsible for product quality Other duties as assigned Education and/orWork Experience Requirements:
High School Diploma A minimum of 2+ years of sales related customer service tasks and responsibilities Excellent communication both verbally and in writing Attention to detail Microsoft Office skills and knowledge (data entry) Prior experience utilizing an ERP system is a mustPhysical Requirements:
