Job Description

Job Overview At Retrospekt, we restore vintage items to look and perform like they did in their prime as well as provide new products that fit under the umbrella of analog and nostalgia. Providing excellent customer service is one of the most crucial parts of helping our customers have a magical experience with their new analog treasures. Our staff also takes great pride in carefully and accurately packing and shipping customers' orders in a timely manner. We're looking for a flexible, eager-to-learn individual who can assist our Pick and Pack department by succeeding in both of these tasks. The Order Fulfillment & Customer Service Associate is responsible for interfacing with customers via email, phone, and in-person interactions. This individual develops and maintains positive customer relations and coordinates with various departments to ensure customer requests are handled appropriately and efficiently. Additionally, team members in this role will help package and ship orders, complete inventory management tasks, and help maintain the overall organization of our order fulfillment department. Responsibilities Process, package, and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently Accurately select products in customer orders, package them, and ship them domestically and internationally Portray a positive company image and engage in professional and friendly communications with customers Actively listen to customer needs and inquiries to determine appropriate service actions Manage incoming Customer Repairs and facilitate the servicing of items in a timely manner Accept and document incoming items or parcels Organize, stock, and maintain inventory Operate warehouse equipment including carts, dollies, and pallet jacks to move merchandise about our facility Follow up on orders to ensure delivery by specified dates Assist customers in our retail space (once initial training has been completed) Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of our workspace Assist with special projects or other work-related tasks as needed Qualifications Candidates must have at minimum a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) to qualify for this position. Prior experience working with customers in some capacity (via email, phone, and/or in-person) is preferred, but not necessarily required.
The ideal candidate will:
Have excellent oral and written communication skills Be generally proficient and comfortable working on a computer (prior experience with Mac OS and/or Google Sheets would be a plus!) Be able to accurately multitask, maintain great attention to detail, and stay organized while packaging customer orders Be willing to receive and apply constructive feedback, especially during training Enjoy working both independently and as a group
Pay:
From $17.00 per hour
